We went to the Hollywood Bowl Sunday night to Movie Night. Every year they host a movie night with a different theme. This year it was the history of Paramount Pictures. The orchestra played theme songs and original music from several of Paramount's biggest movies. While that was going on we were seeing clips of the movies on huge screens. Leonard Nimoy was the host for the evening and since my husband is a geek boy who likes Star Trek, he was very excited about this!!
It was a really fun night, but sooooooooooo hot. At intermission we all stood up to stretch and relax and it was actually pretty gross - we all stunk!!! :-) Thank goodness some people behind us left and we spread out - that actually helped a lot. But it was still an enjoyable evening. I love going to the Bowl - and I love sitting right in the middle and seeing the Hollywood sign right above it on the mountain side!

This is us doing the picnic thing before the concert. Lots of people had the same idea, so we found a spot behind one of the buildings on the grounds. We all brought something and contributed to the meal - we had a hodge podge of food - the only way to have a meal!!! :-)
The best (and only way to me) to get to the Bowl is via the shuttles they offer. We made it home in less than an hour - that includes the trip back to the parking long, and the drive home! No traffic, no waiting for the parking lot to empty, etc. We were saying next year we are going to invite as many people as we can and fill a shuttle!! How fun would that be??!!

Like the pics, and yes, I can see the Hollywood sign in your picture. I never get tired of reveling in the fact that we live near "movie star land." :)
How fun that would be! We've used the shuttle bus to the Hollywood Bowl too,(of course to see Amy Grant) and I agree on it's the best thing to do!

She tried on 100's of dresses made for "little boobed" women.........she looked awesome, yes a little low cut but ........she was beautiful! she definitly has your sparkly personality!
Me? same ole same ole.....kinda seeing a guy, the guy named of all things Steve, he's really great. A farmer, yep , you know i love them country boys! We haven't seen a whole lot of each other because its "harvest time" haha.
But, if i get asked out for a casual date, i go. took a harley ride the other nite with a guy who may have graduated with you , not sure, he's really nice, looks good too! nice , big, muscular HA. it was just a ride, we watched a movie the other nite, just friends.
Steven made the Channel 12 news, interviewed him and everything...he was on Saluki survivor, kinda like the show, lasted three days, out of 15 , he was in the last 5. Ate bugs, the whole bit! he's the man! he also got his pic in the Southern newspaper........
Someday i'll come visit, i'm just a poor single working mom! haha, waiting for her millionaire , love ya
